"Your Road Runner master account may soon have its quota reduced"

So after finally accessing my Road Runner email account I had this message in my inbox:

Subject: Your Road Runner master 
account may soon have its quota reduced

Dear Valued Road Runner Customer,

We are sending this email to you to
let you know that your mail account
##########@nyc.rr.com has not been
used for the past 1060 days. If the
mailbox is not accessed within the
next 90 days your email quota will
be reduced.

If you would like to retain your
current email quota please log into
it within 90 days by visiting
www.rr.com and selecting the button
for Mail.

My Road Runner email inbox capacity is now 10MB. That's a long way down from 2GB. The 2GB is not gone as it is still available for allocation. The sub-email account I created defaulted to 100MB capacity but I upped it to nearly 1GB. You adjust the quota on the mailbox for your master account and for any defined sub-emails by logging into webmail as your master account user. Once in webmail as your master account user, click the 'Settings' link, next click the 'Manage mailbox accounts' and then click the email account link which will bring you to the 'Edit Account' page where you can adjust the mailbox quota for that email address. You have to key in the quota size you want in KB. RR should have a pulldown list of various sizes or something as it's a but tough to enter all those zeros for KB when the quota is measured in GB. On this 'Edit Account' page you can "Specify parental control options for this account" for the email, it's either ON or OFF. I don't blame TWC for lowering my quota after 1060 days of inactivity. This is a good practice the TWC IT team has put in place as it makes efficient use of their computing resources. But I never got this message since I never logged into this email account. I would suggest that TWC send service emails to an address you provide as your primary means of contact when you initially became a TWC customer.
